Please Note:

This website will continue to be maintained as the Community Information Site (in additon to the Web2Care Operating Site) and as contributions are made by volunteers, the main focus is on "relevant content" rather than on "looks".

Applications used to create the different tools are either FREE or of absolute MINIMUM COST and Open Source software is used when available. The core development is based on advanced Google Technology now known as Google Apps. With growing project support, the contributions from people with very challenging disabilities are amazing.

As more people become involved in the project, the future benefits to the disabled community will be significant and advantages to all participants are already evident.

After looking at and testing many products, a decision to embrace the Google Apps Technology Platform was made with confidence. The Google products released since the start of the Web2Care Project have far exceeded even our most optimistic expectations.

The development effort to make this range of web based applications the best ever released to the Care Community is progressing at a moderate pace but there is no doubt that Our Team and Google have the patience and the resources to make all this work for the long term.

Time Tracker & Roster have been thoroughly tested and work reliably !

Time Tracker, Roster & Payroll

Report Generator

Meet2Care - Find a Carer or a Job

Objective:

Effective Rostering of Support Workers, a  Simple Way of recording Shift Times and administration of the Payroll Process.

There is no need for specific computing skills.

Pressing a START & STOP button at the beginning and end of each shift starts a process of maintaining an accurate Roster and producing an Invoice (if you are a Selfemployed Support Worker) or a Payslip (if you are a Care Recioient employing a Support Worker on a Direct Basis). Useful reports help to stay in control and all transactions are summarized in a user friendly Accounting Application and this completes the single entry data administration process.

If there is more than one support worker on the same shift, no problem ... the system works on a multi-user basis and records the shifts into the Roster. Also, shifts can be manually recorded in the Roster as an alternative to using the Time Tracking application.

The Roster can be accessed by (shared with) all authorized Stakeholders as all now can work "off the same page". Meaningful (real time) reports help to maintain full control of a complex care program.

We believe that running a Complex Care Program is hard enough.

That's why financial record keeping should be easy, fast, perhaps even fun, yet detailed enough to satisfy any accountant, care provider, host or funding body.

Rostering of Support Workers and administering the Payroll Process should be simple. If you take up the choice of directly employing your Support Worker you have to be able to produce a Payslip and keep accurate records of all transactions.

If a Care Provider or Host is involved in the program you should know the amount that will be invoiced to you immediately after the end of the pay period and no matter when you actually receive the invoice from your Provider.

By having accurate monthly, quarterly and annual summary reports at your fingertips you can really financially control your program and compare the actual results with the care program budget.

Properly planning and budgeting your Care Program put you in a position to get the best value support for the financil support available to you.

Objective:

To provide participants in Self Directed Care Programs with a "Virtual Meeting Place" where Support Workers (SWs) and Care Recipients (CRs) can exchange detailed information, arrange a Meet & Greet and agree on a meaningful working relationship ...

With Meet2Care we introduce a single "Visual Data Base" where Care Recipients and Support Workers can register free of charge. The ageold popular concept of pinning a Business Card or Note to a local "Shopping Centre Notice Board" is beeing reintroduced and has been "technology enhanced". The Meet2Care Notice Board has seperate relevant sections, Adds can be placed from the comfort of our home and entering your Area Code replaces the need of going to the shopping center

The Meet2Care Noticeboard allows you to place Adds into the most relevant sections (Care Categories) of the board. An Add such as "Complex/High Needs Care Wanted" or "Complex Care Experience Available"  is simply pinned to the relevant page of your area code's notice board and a summary of all cards is shown on Google Maps.

The search result can display a link to the Care Recipient's and Support Worker's own single page website which links to the relevant "Needs & Experience Profiles" and to respective Rosters showing "Vacant Shifts" and "Support Worker Availability".
