While we are continuing our efforts to complete the full range of Web2Care tools, two commercial sites
have been introduced. Both sites offer, for a reasonable fee, similar aprroaches to Meet2Care. Thousands of Support Workers and Care Recipients are already embracing this fresh internet based approach as they recognize the power of this new method of effective communication.
Development of the full range of Web2Care Tools has progressed to the final stage. An intensive testing period is currently under way.
Care Recipients and Support Workers will soon have a real choice. They will all benefit from different ways of achieving the same objective, namely the introduction of effective technology support that leads to better care!
The delivery of FREE Care Tools to Care Recipients remains our major objective.

From humble beginnings ...
When our group of Care Recipients and Support Workers launched the Web2Care Project we had no idea that an internet revolution was about to start. The development of Cloud Computing presented us with the opportunity to help improve unsatisfactory elements within the Care Delivery Process. With focus on a list of Priority Tasks we are now completing a comprehensive Care User Support System. We are also constantly improving the tools now in use and adding new tools which will be of increasing value to our Community Members. In the first instance, priority is placed on improved management of Complex Personal Care Programs and considerable support is now available..
Our group of Project Participants has determined the following list of Priority Tasks:
-
Provide User Friendly access to all Computing Needs via Role Based Intranet Portals and user friendly Dashboards,
-
Improve Invoicing, Payroll- and Roster Administration as well as the process of matching Support Workers to Care Recipients
-
Develop and promote a "One Point Care Co-ordination / Lead Care Provider" Concept
-
Develop and promote a "Cost Plus" Charge Model as the only fair and fully transparent approach in Complex Care Program Management,
-
Publisch a "Fair Service Standard" and complete a "Service Expectations Summary".
Provide Added Value Services such as
-
On-line Rosters & Financial Reports (e.g. Actual against Budget Care Program performance comparisons), and Charge Rate comparisons as well as
-
Support Worker References & Experience Profiles
A central Information Hub including access to useful disability services and polls on Care Provider service performance,
With these tasks now completed or nearing completion, we have clear evidence that efficiencies to the Care Delivery Process can be achieved at minimum cost.
